Tone Manager - this is a small app for the Pocket PC to choose different ringtones for your contacts on a per-category basis, with the option to choose which category takes priority in the event of a contact belonging to more than one category.
The app DOESN'T need to stay resident in your phone, it simply updates the 'Ringtone' field of the relevant outlook contacts. In this way, you don't have to keep an application running in the background to have custom ringtones so your phone can run nice and fast.
Instructions:
- Choose a category and a ringtone.
- Click 'Add to list' to add it to the priority list.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you've chosen all your desired categories and ringtones.
- Use the < and > buttons to order your list into priority; categories at the top take precedence over categories below them.
- Click 'Set Ringtones Now' to make the changes. Troubleshooting:
The app assumes that the ringtones are stored in WindowsRings. If this is NOT the case, go to the menu and choose 'Set Folder' to point it to a different location. This setting is currently NOT stored but will be in a future release. Update Description:
