PhoneGate New WM5 PPC Maxicon PhoneGate® software is an effective protective tool to screen unwanted callers.
It reacts to an incoming call, verifies the number and if necessary rejects ("blocks") the call so that the caller hears the busy tone.
PhoneGate works based on the principle of dividing all the phone numbers that you know into three classes: "VIP", "Unwanted" and all other numbers.
VIP and Unwanted numbers are selected from standard Outlook Contact list. You can also add any explicit numbers directly to VIP and unwanted lists.
The program suitable for use in all countries and recognizes different formats in which numbers can be recorded:
• when international and national prefixes are indicated
• when international and area codes are not specified.
It is possible to use the SMS auto reply option to react to declined numbers. You can have one or several different variants of text that will be inserted in SMS replies.
Number of rings before a call is rejected can be set from 0 to 7. ?0? means that when a call that should be rejected arrives you will not hear a signal ? the device will neither ring nor vibrate.
By using a correct combination of screening modes and settings of the standard mobile service ?Call forwarding? you can set a selective call forwarding and/or receipt of voicemail.
Main screening modes:
• "all incoming"
• "all except VIP"
• "unwanted"
If the second or third option is selected, you can additionally switch on/off
• rejecting all new numbers
and/or
• rejecting all unknown, hidden and private numbers.
SMS auto reply modes:
• "never"
• "mobile VIP"
• "all VIP"
• "all mobile"
• "all rejected"
Main options:
• international country code
• local area code
• interface language
• whether the program runs automatically or not every time after the phone is switched on or restarted
• whether or not a delivery report is requested for the SMS auto reply from the mobile network
