HandyMD (Palm OS) is a new patient tracking software written specifically for intern and resident use. This program is currently a hanDbase 3.0 script/form application, and *REQUIRES* hanDbase 3.0 or higher to function. This program is being developed by Internal Medicine residents and interns for quick patient data entry and recall on the wards, but is easily customizable for most medical uses. It uses lab skeleton format for quick data entry. It also includes dynamic and automatic calculation of many basic formulas, including anion gap, FeNa, retic index, and many others.
HandyMD is under continual optimization based on MD feedback from the wards. Please feel free to email us with any specific requests or suggestions you would like to be considered to: handyMD@comcast.net
This program is written in hanDBase scripting language, and requires HanDBase at this point for execution. There is both a Palm and PocketPC version of this application. A stand-alone executable is possible in the future.
