GreatCircle (Palm OS) is an application for Palm OS based handhelds to compute the greatcircle distance and bearing angle between two locations on the Earth.
GreatCircle is used in conjunction with the GeoDB database application.
GreatCircle is the computation engine and GeoDB holds the location database.
TheGreatCircle archive (gc12.zip) includes GeoDB in case you do not have GeoDBinstalled in your handheld.
What's New in This Release:
· Major update. More accuracy, units and decimal digits

Speeder Speeder- Program used to determine how fast a car is moving by timing how long it takes to go from piont A to point B.
I created this to assist police officers catch speeders when radar is impractical or otherwise not an option.
It could also be used by a neighborhood watch group to log speeders. Simply pre-measure two pionts and get a stopwatch out
Gobzi Gobzi - Calculates your VFR cross country time on route, fuel buring time remaining in gallons/liters and flight time.
Calculates cross wind and head/tail wind component, wind correction angle, time between check points and ground speed, with simple push of a few buttons
Google Maps Mobile Google Maps Mobile-Take the power of Google Maps with you on your mobile phone.
Real-time traffic - See where the congestion is, and estimate delays in over 30 major US metropolitan areas.
Detailed directions - Whether you plan to walk or drive, your route is displayed on the map itself, together with step-by-step directions
TNR TNR is a powerful radius to chamfer to radius profiling app. Anyone with a CNC can benefit from the g-code programming ease. The graphical interface is intuitive and easy to understand. Complex contour programming has never been easier!
What's New in This Release:
· New graphical interface! Updated formulas
SunFly SunFly - allows computation of sunrise and sunset observed from an aircraft.
With SunFly, mainly an application for aviators, you can exactly predict not only time but also the position of sunrise or sunset.
Insert two waypoints with its coordinates and the respective estimated time over (ETO), the flight level and SunFly does the rest
Distance by Hans Distance by Hans - Distance computes the geodesic distance between two points on the surface of the Earth to an accuracy of about ±50 meters.
What's New in This Release:
· Extended input accuracy to .01"
· Display of calculated distances to .0001 accuracy
GPSacreage GPSacreage - Want an easy way to export the GPS data to your PC? The PDB files where GPSacreage saves the tract data is backed up on your PC each time you make a Hotsync. Now you can use another PC based application by the same developer to convert those backup PDB files to ascii text format. It makes it possible to use GPSacreage now also as GPS datalogger
CelestNav CelestNav turns your PalmOS handheld into a full-featured calculator for celestial navigation.
· computation of fix position from celestial observations.
· perpetual nautical almanac for navigational stars, Moon, Sun, planets.
· Mercator and Great Circle sailing computation
Odometron Odometron - A basic freeware gas usage log and calculator for Palm OS handhelds. Supports up to 16 concurrent vehicles. Distance, volume, and currency are purposely referred to without specifying units so the application can be more universal. If you live in the US you can apply miles, gallons, and USD - if you live in Europe use kilometers, liters, and Euros

UTMConvert UTMConvert - UTMConvert application converts Earth latitude/longitude encoded positions into universal transverse mercator (UTM) encoded positions, and vice versa
RiseSet RiseSet - The RiseSet Program computes the rise, transit and set times for the Sun and the Moon.
Any date and user location may be specified.
RiseSet has good accuracy for visual sighting.
The actual sun times are within a few seconds and the moon times are within a minute
GeoDB Tools GeoDB Tools - GeoDB Data Tools are an adjunct to Palm OS GeoDB application.
The GeoDB Data Tools archive provides world wide location data and GeoDB databases, as well as PC tools to work with GeoDB and with GPS devices.
The provided databases include over 700 world wide locations in both text, CSV form, and 9 ready to install GeoDB databases
GreatCircle GreatCircle - GreatCircle is an application for Ewe enabled computers to compute the great circle distance and bearing angle between two locations on Earth.
GreatCircle will accurately compute short distances and thus is useful for geocaching
· Latitude and longitude of two Earth locations -- selected from included Location Data CSV files and/or entered manually
Earth&Sun Earth&Sun - It also displays:
- The latitude and longitude of an Earth location.
- The time zone at that location, based on only longitude not civil boundaries.
- The current time at that location based on the above time zone.
- The sunrise and sunset times, and day length at that location.
- Distance between two locations on the earth surface
Convert Convert - Convert is a unit conversion calculator.
Convert is an application for Ewe enabled computers to convert values from one unit to another.
Convert has 13 categories of units. Each of which has a number of possible conversions
Riseset for Pocket PC Riseset for Pocket PC - Riseset is an application for Ewe enabled computers to compute sighting information for the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Any user location and date may be specified.
· Rise, transit, set times.
· The altitude and azimuth angles at the current time, or at a user specified time
FormulaCalc FormulaCalc - FormulaCalc is a general purpose calculator which accepts algebraic formulas and computes their values.
The formulas of FormulaCalc:
* Use common algebraic expressions with the normal multiply before add rules.
* Can have up to 26 inputs from stored data.
* Can store results in up to 26 storage locations
GeoDB GeoDB is a database for storing Earth locations -- latitude/longitude/etc.
Store your favorite locations in GeoDB and it is a trivial task to import the information into Earth&Sun, GeoMagnetic Info, and Rise Set.
It also provides the computation of Daylight Time when alocation is imported
