Search on Green is a quick-and-dirty hack for Android. The shiny new Voice Search in Android 1.6 (Donut) includes a better voice dialer than the older "Voice Dialer" application. The one problem? There is no way to attach it to a long press of the green button (call/send/answer).

Pulse Trackball Locale Plugin - This Locale plugin sets the Pulse notification light setting, so you can have the flashing trackball in the daytime without floodlighting your room at night. Does not control detailed behaviour of the light, only sets the system setting on/off
EndBeep is a Palm preferences panel to add a beep at the end of calls. It is intended for Treos only, with the new Phone Library, and was made with prc-tools. As it's very simple, it's public domain.
N.B. Given the nature of this software, bugs may break phone functionality. This should go without saying, but use at your own risk
Timer is a Palm application to sound alarms at regular intervals, optionally waiting for each alarm to be acknowledged before starting the timer for the next. This is useful for people who need to take tablets N hours apart, for example. It should run on anything with at least Palm OS 4.0, and was made with prc-tools. As it's very simple, it's public domain
