Child Phone Guard (Symbian) - This app is for you to protect your child or teenager from unwelcome calls and messages of all sorts: strangers, bullies and any other people you prefer to keep at a distance.
Child Phone Guard (CPG) will also stop your child from calling just anyone. The app limits outgoing and incoming calls and messages so your child can only be in touch with people already entered in the phone’s contact list.
CPG can reduce the risks associated with your child’s owning a phone by restricting phone usage. If he/she is being bullied, you can also use Child Phone Guard to block the bully’s phone number simply by removing it from the phonebook. If the number is not on the contacts list, all you need to do is simply turn CPG on.
How Child Phone Guard works:
· CPG sends a busy tone to unknown callers and blocks incoming SMS, MMS or WAP push messages from numbers not in the contact list
· Prevents all attempts for outgoing calls or messages to unfamiliar numbers
· Keeps a detailed log of all incoming and outgoing activity
Enabling/disabling of CPG and editing the phone’s contact list is password protected.
