With 56 regular numbers and 46 separate megaballs, there are millions of combinations of numbers. However, what if the drawings aren''t as truly random as it appears? For the numbers selected to be truly random, the weight of each ball would have to be exactly the same. The fluid dynamics involved would have to vary on each drawing. The time between releasing the balls, and the selection of the first ball would have to be different on each drawing. While the lottery corporations do their best to increase randomness, they certainly cannot guarantee it. Wouldn''t it be better to have a tool that could perform a frequency analysis to determine the distribution of numbers over time to determine trends in the results?
