As long as your device mobile / tablet can access the internet Got Data can do its work in the background. How to use Got Data. Manual Mode. (This mode is designed to be used when the user notices that their data wifi 4g 3g 2g is down) 1. Simply turn the switch to on and select from one of the timer options. (If you need to know right away when your 4g 3g 2g wifi data connection is back then we recommend you select 1 min test interval) 2. That’s it, Got Data will be working in the background and checking for a connection. Once connection is established your devices alarm will go on. Auto Mode. (Requires an in app purchase to unlock) (This mode is designed to help users find out when their data wifi 4g 3g 2g goes down) 1. Purchase Got data Auto mode and turn it on. 2. Select scan interval and that’s all. Got Data will track your wifi 4g 3g 2g connection and will notify you if it goes down. If you do loose connection you can then easily turn on Got Data Manual mode and you will be notified when the connection is restored.
