RogueBB - This is the classic Rogue adventure game adapted to the BlackBerry® platform. Be careful as this is a highly addictive adventure game. In Rogue, the player assumes the typical role of an adventurer of early fantasy role-playing games. The game starts at the uppermost level of an unmapped dungeon with a variety of monsters and treasures. The goal is to fight one's way to the bottom level, retrieve the Amulet of Yendor (Rodney spelled backwards), then ascend to the surface. Until the Amulet is retrieved, the player cannot return to earlier levels. Monsters in the levels become progressively more difficult to defeat. Pick up scrolls, rings, potions, and weapons to assist you in conquering all 26 levels of the dungeon.
Those who have managed to accumulate over 300 gold coins will have the opportunity to be inducted into the Rogue Hall of Honors Graveyard where the top ten adventurers will be listed for posterity. But first, you must battle the monsters, learn the mysteries of the deep dungeons, and avoid starvation to gain a chance at immortality. Have fun!
