With over thousands of Chinese characters, how is one to learn to pronounce them all? This is where two popular phonetic systems, Zhuyin and Pinyin, are used to help people learn. These systems help students associate sounds and meaning to characters.
What is Zhuyin?
Zhuyin or Bopomofo is primarily used in Taiwan to teach students Mandarin and is a popular method to entering Chinese characters on electronic devices from computers to cellphones. The primary advantage of using Zhuyin is that instead of using preconceived prononciation of Roman alphabet for characters, it forces you to just focus on the Mandarin pronunciation.
Zhuyin Help will help you learn Chinese with the following features:
