Flashcards is geared towards preschoolers and their parents. I got the idea when my 2 year old son lost some of his magnetic letters for a toy he plays with that teaches him his alphabet.
He loves daddy s BlackBerry® so I created an app that would teach him his alphabet and numbers while also locking my BlackBerry so he couldn t mess anything up. This app displays the letters of the alphabet in large friendly letters depending on the keys pressed on the keyboard or can be set to randomly show letters. There is also options to lock the BlackBerry so your little one won t be able to mess up anything. The program can also be set to display up to ten letters upper or lower case or any number in between so as he grows you can use it to display full words for him to learn. The app will also teach him his colors by displaying the letters in bright primary colors. You will find Flashcard an amazing tool to teach your little one the alphabet, numbers, and words. The smile on their face when they get to use your BlackBerry to learn these fundamentals is great. The other great part is that he can use it during trips in the car, waiting in stores, waiting at the Doctor or Dentist, etc... Other such tools I ve purchased for my little man have cost me between $20 and $40 and then he loses the parts. The first long trip in the car when this app silences his crying and instead teaches him will make this purchase worth it.
