Planes Game (similar to Sea Battle) is one of the classic games for two players. Each player has its own map with three planes, hidden from the opponent. Each player can take single shots on the opponent's map. The purpose is to reveal (hit) the positions of the opponent's planes. The first to succeed is the winner.
The start page of the game has several options. The New Game button will create a new game. You will have to wait for another player to join your game. The Join button offers you the opportunity to join an already created game. When two players are in the game the battle may begin. If you are not familiar with the game's rules you can learn how to play by pressing the About button. By pressing the Exit button you will leave the game.
Each player has its own grid of 10 X 10 squares and three planes. At the beginning of each game you can change the position of your planes by pressing the Shuffle button. The game will generate a new random position for your planes.
When you are satisfied with the planes position you may start playing by pressing the Start game button.
From the start page of the game you can go to the available games on server by pressing the Join button. A list will be displayed with the games that are waiting for a player to join. Each game displays its creator username and its server start date. You may select one game from this list and the game will begin momentarily.
When playing, you will see a grid with your map (top of the page) and another grid for your opponent. The game status is displayed in the up-right corner. A blue square in that area indicates whose turn is to shoot.
Some squares in the grids will change color as a result of your shots. A (red square) describes a hit plane, a (blue square) is describes a miss and a (brown square) describes a fatal shot (a shot that destroys a plane).
When all planes of a player are destroyed or when someone leaves, the game ends and a message with the winner's name is displayed. Each time a player wins a game his score will be incremented and each time he loses his score will not be modified. The high scores are displayed in descending order.
