YGPS Satellites - YGPS Satellites is a small mobile application that allows you to easily assess the quality of your GPS signal. The utility displays the location of all the GPS satellites and shows the signal strength for every one of them.
Using the app is pretty straightforward. After installing it on your smartphone, simply run it to view the constellation of satellites and the strength of the signal for each.
YGPS Satellites is compatible with devices running at least the Cupcake version of the Android operating system, so you can use it even on older smartphones. Besides the obvious permission to access the GPS, the app doesn't require any other permissions.
What's New in This Release:
· This new version, 1.0.3, now comes with also with landscape mode and can be launched from other applications via the intent 'com.yunnanexplorer.android.gps.sats.VIEW'. It includes a small bug fix that now correctly displays those satellites that are not being used in a GPS fix in orange colour.
