About Manali:
Manali is a famous and beautiful hill station located in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, pretty close to Kullu Valley. It is located at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft) in the Beas River.
This place has a population of approximately 30,000 people and is a part of the Kullu district. This small town is the beginning of an ancient trade route to Ladakh and from there over the Karakoram Pass on to Yarkand and Khotan in the Tarim Basin. This city has a great significance to the Indian culture and holds a heritage of paramount importance as it is said to be the homeland of the Seven Sages (Saptarishi).
Manali is also famous for being among the top Indian skiing destinations. There are other places of utmost importance that you can visit while having a vacation in Manali, namely Vashishta Temple, Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Van Vihar, Monasteries, Jagatsukh, Solang Valley, Kangra Valley, Rohtang , Club House, Cafe Juniper , etc.
