The AccessibleNews add-on is built upon the technology to smartly understand the page layout and help blind users to access the content more quickly. What's New in This Release:
· The normal extraction algorithm has been significantly improved and accuracy and performance is much higher compared to previous release.
· The new feature had been added, to make the layout of web-page linear along with addition of some accessible tags so that navigation of the page becomes easier.
· The above added feature ensures that if our algorithm cannot extract the content of the page, then it is highly likely that you are looking at home page of some portal and it makes browsing easier for visually impaired and blinds to browse modified layout more efficiently with Screen Readers.
· For supporting the above two features, there is slight change in the keyboard short-cut associations. For Extracting the page content - Alt+X. For Adding Accessible Tags and Linearize the Layout - Alt+A.
