AuroraWatch UK is a free service run by Lancaster University, indicating the likelyhood of an auroal sighting from within the UK. This official AuroraWatch UK app allows you to have this data at your fingertips on your Windows Phone.
The latest version of the app currently allows you to:
- monitor the UK's geomagnetic activity in real-time
- see how likely an auroral sighting is
- view the AuroraWatch UK Twitter feed
- see the real-time auroral oval (North Pole)
- learn a few basic FAQs
- report any sightings (through webpage)
- live tile (updates hourly)
with new features currently under development.
This app was previously released as AuroraWatch 0.2.
