The Bible, Contemporary English Version for Pocket e-Sword - The Bible is a collection of scriptures, from the Greek word Biblia, meaning "books". May include only the Hebrew and Aramaic scriptures of Judaism or may also include the Greek scriptures of Christianity.

The Authorized or King James Version of the Bible is still widely used, although more recent discoveries of ancient manuscripts have enabled translators to create more accurate versions of the Bible.
