The Bronte Romance Collection - Escape to romance anytime or anywhere: at home, at the office, in planes, trains or automobiles with The Bronte Romance Collection - four romantic novels by the Bronte Sisters, including "Jane Eyre" and "Wuthering Heights", two of the greatest romances ever written.
The Bronte Sisters, Charlotte, Emily, Anne, Maria and Elizabeth grew up in Howarth, Yorkshire, located on the Yorkshire moors. These moors were to play a large part in their future writings. Following their mother's death in 1821, the four eldest sisters were sent to a boarding school, where Maria and Elizabeth died. Brokenhearted, Charlotte and Emily returned home to their brother Branwell and sister Anne, and in one amazing year, Emily wrote "Wuthering Heights", Anne wrote "Agnes Grey" and Charlotte wrote "The Professor". The following year, Charlotte wrote the unforgettable "Jane Eyre".
