· Taptu Magic - Mixed and curated streams now learn your preferences! Suppose you have Taptu's sports stream and you're a big basketball fan but not so interested in baseball. Taptu will understand from your reading habits that you prefer basketball news and bias the stream towards that.
What's New in 2.1:
· For our friends in Germany, France and Spain, we now have translated Taptu in German, French and Spanish. We have also created a tailored version of the StreamStore with topics and streams that are country-specific.
· Synching across multiple devices: The #1 fan-requested feature is now available! Log in to Taptu using Facebook, Twitter, Linked or G Reader to synch between your different devices. As long as you are logged in, your streams and stories that you've read or bookmarked will be there for you.
· A significant facelift: The app has a new look and feel. We've redesigned our main page and the story pages to make discovery, navigation and sharing even simpler. You can now see the links on the stories you are reading and click on them inside the app.
· Create a stream for everything with a simple keyword: If you are looking for something in particular either inside a stream or in the StreamStore, you can now create a keyword-based stream. For example, just interested in "iPad" news? You can create an iPad news stream from from Taptu's technology stream or just Techcrunch, etc.
· Speed and performance improvements: faster and more fluid, Taptu has gotten a significant boost in speed.
What's New in 1.6.3:
· Fixed white screen issue
· Fixed app crashing on launch under French locale
· Minor GUI improvements
What's New in 1.6.2:
· We replaced the Edit button that takes YOU to the SteamStudio where you edit/DJ your streams with a more obvious DJ button
· The StreamStudio is also improved
· You can now preview a stream you are DJing before you finalize the changes
· Did you change something by accident or did you add sources on the wrong stream, the Undo button at the top of the page will help you revert to the previous state of the stream before your last change
· We tried to simplify the instructions of how the StreamStudio works, so please make sure you check the quick tutorial before you start
· You can now rename a stream as well, i.e. if the feed you added from Bing or G Reader is too long to fit in the screen, you can now rename it to something shorter
· The StreamStore "Featured" section is now scrollable vertically and not horizontally (iPhone only). Hopefully you will discover more sources you love in this format.
· Finally we fixed a few bugs that caused a few problems for some of you. The URL of a stream you have DJed is now the correct one, so that your friends on FB, Twitter, etc can actually add the stream you have curated for them to stay up to date with their favorite topics.
What's New in 1.6.1:
· Updated Logo: It's time we had a new logo to reflect as much as possible what the app is all about. We hope you like it.
· Preview a Stream before you add it: Whether you are adding a Stream from the Topics or one you found after Searching, you can now Preview the Stream before you add it.
· Add a Stream from the article page: Is the article you are reading around a topic you are passionate about? You can now add the Stream directly from the article page when there is one available
· Support for Read It Later: You can now save articles you like to Read It Later. Don't forget you can always Bookmark those stories inside Taptu as well.
