The awe-inspiring bluegrass, the majestic horses in the pastures, the satisfying taste of history, the aged-to-perfection bourbon, and the food! Well, get ready to loosen your belt a notch or two, as you tour the city of Lexington and the surrounding Bluegrass area, tasting all she has to offer along the way.
This application features your introductions to the finest attractions, unique shops and hometown-proud restaurants that Lexington has to offer. Tour the city, known as "The Horse Capital of the World", while seeing and tasting all she has to offer.
Head out of town a bit too, past horse farms, tobacco fields and hand-laid field stone fences along the scenic route to the cute-as-a-button towns that make up the Bluegrass Region.
Also included are a few Kentucky Landmarks. Places such as Mammoth Cave, Churchill Downs and Cumberland Falls, which are not actually in the Bluegrass Region, but are a sampling of some of Kentucky's most famous sites. If you have time for a 2 or 3 hour drive, you might want to add these to your itinerary.
