Information is displayed in a simple navigable monograph format including in-depth dosage & administration, adverse reactions, drug interactions, pharmacology, indications, contraindications and patient information. Search directly by drug name or browse by medical condition / drug classification.
The application also includes FDA Medwatch alerts to help keep users up to date with timely new safety information relating to medications and dietary supplements. The alerts contain actionable information that may impact treatment and diagnostic decisions for the healthcare professional and/or patient.
All data is stored on the mobile device ensuring speedy access. Safety alerts, content revisions and new medications are added on a monthly basis. The application can also connect to the Drugs.com website to retrieve additional or supplementary information (where available).
