Word Lens for iOS - Word Lens is a useful app that translates printed text from one language to another in real-time using the camera of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. For example, when you want to find out the meaning of a sign written in a foreign language, simply point your camera at it and the translation will instantly appear. You can also look up words in the traditional way by typing them in.
Word Lens can translate words between English and Portuguese, German, Italian, French or Spanish languages. Each language pair is available as an in-app purchase.
Please note that Word Lens works best with printed text and cannot recognize handwriting and stylized fonts.
