Pocket God (iPhone) - What kind of god would you be? Benevolent or vengeful? Play Pocket God and discover the answer within yourself. On a remote island, you are the all-powerful god that rules over the primitive islanders. You can bring new life, and then take it away just as quickly. Exercise your powers on the islanders. Lift them in the air, alter gravity, hit them with lightning...you are the island god! All god powers are demonstrated in Pocket God's help menu.
What's New in This Release:
· Episode 45: Dance Dance Execution - It's the end of the world as they know it, and tonight the Pygmies party like it's 199,999,999 B.C., which makes no sense since B.C. years count in reverse. But what they lack in counting skills they make up for in moves (like Jagger). Because deeper in Apocalypse temple lies the Dance Room, where the Pygmies can either boogie on the dance floor or shake it in the go-go cage. There's also some organic party balloons filled with a gas that the Pygmies breathe in order to sound like a certain "David after Dentist", the Youtube sensation: "I...I feel funny."
· But that's not all! This update has our first mini-game since the Battle of the Gods. And you've probably already guessed that it's a dancing game! Place a Pygmy on the center platform to begin Dance Dance Execution. In a cross between Tap Tap Revenge and Dance Dance Revolution, you must tap the icons in time with the beat, while the Pygmy dances for his life...literally! The dance loop, like the majority of the Pocket God loops, was composed by Grammy winner Christopher Tin, and features the voice talents of Brett Pels.
· To celebrate our party update, our custom pack this time around is, what else? A Dance Pack! "Dance Pack Three" features the Elaine Dance, Kony Guy Naked Dance, Hammer Time, Double Dream Hands, Bad Zombie, and the YMCA. Also, we are proud to introduce "The Pygmy Theme," written and performed by "Nerdcore" punk superstar Parry Gripp! Parry is not only known for leading the punk band Nerf Herder, but he is also a solo artist that produces insanely catchy pop songs and YouTube videos.
What's New in 1.44.2:
· Episode 44: The Perfect Swarm - The countdown to doom gets a whole lot grosser with this installment! The blocked door in the temple's Chamber of Time has been opened, leading to the frightening Locust Room. Inside is an enormously disgusting Locust Queen who can birth a swarm of locusts, as long as she is given sustenance--and you can guess what her favorite food is! Once the swarm is created, experiment to see what they can do. For instance, they can harass Pygmies, toss 'em around, slice 'em up "Fruit Ninja" style, or even turn pygmies into mutant locusts themselves. Weird!! Find all the locust interactions to earn the Locust God idol for Battle of the Gods.
What's New in 1.43.3:
· Episode 43: Killing Time - Is this the beginning of the end? Or the end of the beginning? Either way, the Pygmies have BIG troubles. They find themselves on yet another mysterious island with an even more mysterious clock attached to a temple. It seems to be counting down to something, but what? Maybe there are answers inside the temple, where a chamber has the powers to bend the very fabric of space-time. Place a pygmy on a platform, set it to different positions to switch pygmies with a past self, future self, or a self from an alternate timeline. Learn more about their history, destiny, and what could have been! In fact, there is an alternate timeline where, in the early episodes, the Pygmies were almost permanently changed into ginger pygmies. Why? It's a long story! But now you get to see how that would have worked out. This is the first part of an ongoing story that will unfold over several episodes. What's going on? Keep updating to find out! Find all the time-interactions to win a killer Hourglass idol for Battle of the Gods.
· Also included with this update is the Superbowl Skin Pack! Decorate your island with sporty football swag!
What's New in 1.42.1:
· Episode 42: Bone Soup - In the new Coral Reef, the ruins of an ancient temple provide new danger for the pygmies. On the pyramid are hieroglyphics that you can light up by tapping them. Toggle the symbols in specific configurations (see the help, or our blog for a guide to the configurations) to activate underwater finger powers, heat, cold, acid, oil and air. Then you can drag your finger in the water to create hot spots, cold spots, oil slicks, acid spills and air pockets. Boil a pygmy alive, freeze him in ice, douse him with petroleum, disintegrate him with acid or encase him in an air bubble!
· As an extra holiday bonus, the "Twelve Days of Fishmas" dance has been added to the free Fishmas pack! Activate the dance and tap the screen to make the pygmies carol to you about 12 sharks-a-zapping, 11 ghost-a-haunting etc!
· Also included with this episode is the Candy Land Pack! Turn your islands into candy-covered treats, including lollipops, cupcakes, gummi-bears and a Pygmy Pez Dispenser!

· Pocket God now offers Challenge of the Gods, where you go back through the past 39 episodes and find all the godly features added. Find all the tasks for an episode and acquire a God Idol! 39 idols to win so far! Collect at least four to open the ancient temple on God Island to receive your hint for the next episode!
· Also with this episode is the Shark Pack! You can now change the shark into a robot shark, alien shark, tiger shark and more! Not only that, but you can choose his laser attachment as well!

· Episode 40: Battle of the Gods!
· Pit pygmy against pygmy in an all new game, Battle of the Gods! Collect at least four idols in the Challenge of the Gods, go to God Island on the map, set idols on the pedestals to open the temple and enter the battle arena. All the gods of the game are your enemies that you must battle. The god idols you've collected endow your fighting pygmy with a REALM TYPE and ATTACK TYPE. A spin on the basic rock-paper-scissors mechanic, these attributes determine a Realm Winner, which activates special powers, and an Attack Winner which determines who does damage to the opponent. Check out the pygmies' fancy fighting moves in this exciting new addition!
· But don't forget, in order to acquire god Idols, you must take the Challenge of the Gods! While the objective of Pocket God is to explore, experiment and have fun, we now offer a whole new way to discover you god powers. On the start screen, tap "View Challenges" and you will see a menu of Icons for the last 40 episodes. Tap an icon and you will be challenged to go find all the godly powers bestowed upon you for that episode.
· Also with this episode is the Mafia Pack! Change the island statue into a pygmy with cement shoes, the igloo into a casino, the doodler into Scarface and more!

· The first ever guest-pygmy visits Oog Island. He's a mysterious stranger who babbles about winning and does weird things like turn into a tiger and slice other pygmies in half. Who is he? He's a total freaking rock star from Mars, that's who he is!. Oh, and he calls himself Charlie.
· Also included is the "Pimp Pack" that allows you to pimp out your islands with a fly caddy, stacks of fitties and bling!
