· Information on over twenty additional restaurants in the Motor City. The choices are very eclectic: Mexican, Italian, German etc. and even the only Art Deco bar and frill in Michigan!
· There's also a few cool surprises, including the story of how two brothers set up a Coney Island restaurant downtown way back in 1917, only to experience a falling out soon after, resulting in the establishment being divided into two restaurants, a schism that continues to this day.
· Two new annual events are detailed: Detroit Restaurant Week and, for country music lovers, the Downtown Hoedown.
