The Guitar Collection: George Harrison - The Guitar Collection: George Harrison is an exploration of Harrison's historic guitars, instruments that the legendary artist played on some of the most famous songs in music history. The application is a living library that will be updated with new guitars.
The current version of the app includes the Rickenbacker 360, the Gretsch Duo Jet, the Rosewood Telecaster, the Gibson J-160E, the Zemaitis Lotus 12-String, the Ramirez Classical and the Fender Stratocaster named “Rocky.”
Free updates to the app will include famous guitars such as the Cherry Les Paul, the Epiphone Casino, the Fender Bass VI, and more.
From his years with The Beatles to his vaunted solo career, Harrison’s talent continues to define the sound of popular music. For the first time, with the help of unique 360° imaging by photographer Steven Sebring, fans can see the scratches, dings and worn threads on the guitars as if they were holding the instruments themselves.
