SlingPlayer Mobile - Watch and control your home TV and DVR on your iPad!
When connected over 3G or Wi-Fi to a Slingbox SOLO or PRO-HD (Slingboxes* sold separately), you can play anything you can see on your home TV on your iPad. View and control video sources such as:
-Cable set-top box and DVR
-Satellite set-top box and DVR
-Telco / IPTV set-top box and DVR
-Basic Cable
-Digital Over-the-Air broadcasts (Slingbox Pro-HD only)
-Tivo
-Apple TV
-Home security cameras
A Slingbox SOLO or Slingbox PRO-HD is required. The Slingbox PRO, AV, Tuner and Classic will not work at all with SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad.

· Fixes an issue which caused some users to have problems connecting over 3G networks.
· Fixes an issue which caused some users to see the connection stall at the 'Locating...' step.
What's New in 1.1:
· Adds component cable video out support when streaming in HQ mode
· For users having remote control issues after installing this update, a fix is in place. Please make sure you have an Internet connection, open the app, wait 10 seconds, and then close it. The next time you stream, it will be fixed.
· Users with the Dish Network 922 Receiver or the Dish Network Sling Adapter should download Dish Remote Access for iPad from the App Store for free. SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad is not supported with those devices.
· The following applies to Slingbox SOLO and PRO-HD users: To stream in High Quality (HQ) mode outside your home, you need at least 1200 kbps of bandwidth from your Slingbox to your iPad when using a Wi-Fi connection, and at least 800 kbps with a 3G connection. To see available bandwidth within SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad, tap the SQ button, then the Aspect button. The current bandwidth displays in the lower left corner. You can test your home upload speed by using a web site such as speedtest.net on your home computer; test download speed at your current location by using the free Speedtest iPad app. The total bandwidth available to SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad is limited to whichever is smaller: the upload speed, or the current download speed. If you don't have enough bandwidth for HQ mode, you can improve your viewing experience by pressing the SQ button to stream in Standard Quality. At least 500 kbps is required for Standard Quality (SQ) streaming. If you don't have enough bandwidth for Standard Quality mode, then you can try using SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone in Compatibility mode for the best viewing experience on your iPad.
