Weather Info displays the current weather and a 5-day forecast on your Pocket PC. Weather Info is provided by weather.com®. Version 1.1 update fixes bug that caused a crash on Windows Mobile 2003 devices. Version 2.1 update changes the weather support to weather.com® for international support and adds the ability to change between standard and metric units. Version 2.2 contains some minor usability enhancements along with the ability to skin the weather icons. See the included Icon Descriptions.txt file for the description of each icon. All skin sets should be in PNG format and be placed in the Program FilesWeather InfoIcons folder. The files should be named .png. Check out the included weather.com skin set in Program FilesWeather InfoIconsweather.com for an example. The skin set can be selected on the Settings tab. All of the skin icons should be a maximum of 64 pixels wide and 64 pixels tall. Keep in mind that the icons should be square so that the program can resize them correctly. Version 2.3 has been updated with a couple of minor enhancements to the current conditions screen. The current dew point and text describing the current sky conditions have been added. Version 2.4 has added the ability to save and view multiple locations. The saved cache file format has been changed to a standard XML file. Please uninstall any previous versions before installing version 2.4. Version 2.5 has been updated to enhance the management of locations in the cache and also includes proxy support. Locations can now be deleted from the cache by executing a tap and hold on the location that the user wishes to delete. Version 2.5 also includes functionality to update all locations in the cache simultaneously. Weather Info will also refresh all locations automatically once per hour if the application is left running. Though proxy support has been added for user convenience, proxy configurations are not supported.
