Bluehood - Bluehood is a very cool application with a clean UI to discover NEW PEOPLE around you. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAIR WITH OTHER DEVICES, IT JUST 'MAGICALLY' CONNECTS TO THEM. It is not yet another social network(although it might be considered one), it is focused in discovering real new people around. It does not use INTERNET and GPS(can not be used in buildings) for that, but Bluetooth. Bluetooth is much more convenient for connecting people around because it's battery friendly and does not consume data plan.
In Bluehood people connect to each other, they make new friends, share photos, chat or even flirt. For example, if you see somebody interesting around you, in Bluehood you can see his/her friendship status: single, in a relationship or married. You can let someone know that you like him/her at a touch of a button, see shared photos, contact details like phone number, mail, instant messaging id or Facebook page if allowed. If not allowed, then you can start chatting and make your luck. Your contact details never leave your phone, Bluehood does not even have permission to access INTERNET!
While most similar applications use GPS(drains battery and does not work in buildings) to find your location, Bluehood uses Bluetooth to discover people around you. Bluehood brings social experience near you, with people that really interest you.
