Tâches Aujourd'hui - By default, the Today screen only displays the number of uncompleted tasks: it's really very useful.
If you don't need to see all the task information (like with TaskPlus or tAganda) Tache Aujourd'hui may be a tool for you.
You can display the subject of all tasks and set the maximum number to display: very efficient, Microsoft should have made it.
