They are very cute but also careless and curious. These creatures want to look into every corridor of the maze and each corner of the level. Danger, for example predators and traps, is waiting for them in many places. That's why you must block dangerous passes placing ice blocks on the way of characters. Take the curious heroes to the portal at the end of the level!
